VSO Brass Trio
To The Editor:
On Wednesday, May 22, three members of the VSO Brass Trio played a free concert for Joslin Library at the Valley Players Theater to a full house. Donations to the Joslin Memorial Library were
received and everyone enjoyed a great evening of music. Thanks to librarian Joy Worland, the trio performed this last-minute concert to replace one that had been canceled.
Members of the groups were Jason Whitcomb, trumpet, Lori Salimando-Porter, trombone, and Joy Worland, horn. The concert marks the 100th anniversary of Joslin Library. There will be other events in the future with a big party on August 10.
