To The Editor:
Waitsfield has been fortunate to have Charlie as a select board member for 29 years. I’d love to see him continue. His knowledge, historical perspective and his vision for the future are invaluable to Waitsfield. Charlie gives of himself – totally – with his hands, his mind and his heart!
With his hands: I could fill pages with the number of individuals, families, businesses and nonprofits Charlie has helped out. He is always a willing volunteer, skilled and tireless. He does whatever is needed.
With his mind: Charlie thinks deeply about Waitsfield’s complex issues: past, present and future. He works hard to gain multiple perspectives and collaboratively helps develop solutions.
With his heart: Charlie exudes passion for his work as a select board member. He cares about the well being of all Waitsfield citizens. He chooses to use his time, nearly all of his time, working on behalf of our community. I find that impressive.
