I do have problems with the title referring to it being shameful as this reminds me of "you're either with us or against us." All of us do care very deeply for the well-being of our soldiers. I did not mean for my previous letters to imply that I do not support those in uniform. I do, but I do not support any wars as I believe violence begets violence. We are now intelligent enough to negotiate our well-being on this planet as the planet needs all our effort for its survival and ability to sustain life on it.

I recently read an article written by Waterbury Center's David Goodman, "Military Recruiters Work Hard to Leave No Child Off Their Lists." www.globalresearch,ca/PrintArticle.php?articleID=3415

I'd like to point out some information from the Associated Press, which David Goodman cited in his article: "In August, an Associated Press investigation revealed that 'more than 100 young women who expressed interest in joining the military in the past year were preyed upon sexually by their recruiters. Women were raped on recruiting office couches, assaulted in government cars and groped en route to entrance exams.... One out of 200 frontline recruiters-the ones who deal directly with young people-was disciplined for sexual misconduct last year."
