To The Editor:
May I add to Rachel Goff’s report on the Mad Marathon (July 12 edition) in which she reports that there were two charities for which funds were raised.
The British Soldiers Fund was also present with three sponsored runners, two from Waitsfield and one from Lincoln, MA, all of whom finished the half marathon. Funds raised are approaching $2,000 for the British Soldiers Fund, a 501 (c) 3 which supports British soldiers, veterans and their families in times of need. It’s not too late to donate!
