To The Editor:
I would like to comment on the suggestion that ALL of us taxpayers NOW fund the municipal water system. This reminds me of the fact that I live on a private road (that is in better condition than some of the town roads), yet I have to pay the same tax rate as properties that are on a public road and receive regular road maintenance from the town. I would like to suggest that for those of us outside the water district, in the event of a structure fire, you bill me for the cost of the water to put out the fire.
