To The Editor:
I am Joshua Martin’s grandmother and I would like to retract some of the things that were printed in The Times Argus. Kacie and I were at the court hearing on September 6 and it was stated that Josh did not miss his arraignment on August 30. It also stated in the newspaper they didn’t know where he lived and they did. Josh never received any form of a citation and found out about it through the newspaper. He’s been living with me for four months now.
It would be nice if people would stop looking at other people’s lives and tend to their own. Everyone has a hidden past if they look far enough. Gossip is a disease that spreads the truth with the lies.
I love my grandchildren and will be there for them whether it’s good or bad. People see what’s in the newspaper and even though they weren’t there, they think he’s guilty on all accounts.
Every time we look in the newspaper, it’s old news that has been there before. When is this going to stop? Let him go on with his life. Life is too short.
