The 34th annual International Boutique begins Saturday, Dec. 2 and runs through Saturday, Dec 9. The Boutique is a benefit for Amurtel; all profits will go to support projects for women and children here in Vermont and around the world. And this year a special focus will be on supporting ongoing relief efforts in Puerto Rico.
The Waitsfield United Church of Christ in Vermont is nearly done with a major project to renovate its Village Meeting House, which provides community members common areas and space to meet and gather.
The 22nd annual Mad Dash was held at Meadow Road in Waitsfield, Vermont. The Dash, which included professionally timed 5k and 10k foot races, a 5K fitness walk plus a kids fun run, benefited the Mad River Path Association, a non-profit organization that builds, maintains and repairs a network of trails from Warren to Moretown Vermont.
Billed as the world's most beautiful marathon, the 7th annual Mad Marathon took place this past Sunday in Vermont's Mad River Valley.
A historic covered bridge in Waitsfield, Vermont was hit by a tree due to heavy rain in the area during the first weekend of July, 2017. Other footage of the flooding is included.
