Harwood Union girls' track and field team took the state Division II title at Fair Haven Union on Saturday, June 7.

The U-32 Raiders won the boys' meet with 108.5 points with the Fair Haven Slaters earning 89.5 points; Lyndon, 70 points; Harwood, 66 points; and Middlebury, 61 points.

The Highlander girls took the relays, earning 139 points.

The Highlanders received winning performances from Lauren Alexander in the 800 (2:30.0), Anneka Williams in the 3,000 (11.26.78), Lily Martin in the 100 hurdles (16.80) and Haley Cleary in the javelin (105-5). Cleary and Martin ran on the 4-by-100 team and Alexander competed on the 4-by-800.
