To The Editor:
I am in full support of our new candidates Scott Kingsbury and Chris Pierson for the select board. The taxpayers must reclaim our town and bring it back to reality.
A public forum was held on the town office location and the results didn’t come out as the incumbents wished so another was held. This also didn’t come out right so the incumbents voted to disregard the public input and do it their way. They bought the property by the covered bridge without public input and paid at the rate of a million dollars an acre. Town income is down yet they want to reduce it even more by taking the Flemer barns off the tax list and incurring a huge expense of renovating and upkeep. The town has acquired more property in the past 20 years than it did in the previous 150. It is time to stop buying.
