Wow, excellent!

Last Saturday, there was a fundraiser for Circle, formerly Washington County's Battered Women's Services and Shelter, at the Senior Center in Waitsfield. Though there wasn't a lot of publicity, the donations of jewelry and scarves were wonderful and, as a result, it was a true benefit. Big thanks go to Bonnie Atwater, originator of the idea, and all of those who donated some wonderful things, who made great purchases and whose work made it possible.

I don't know when, but I understand it'll happen again. Bravo! To find out more about what we do, go to and in a couple of weeks, I'll see that our literature, donation forms, etc. are out and about in The Valley.

Judy Larson DiMario, vice chair, Circle

Dear Charlie! We hope that time our message reached you! I cannot even find words to express our joy when we found your contact and that site we you pardon us for our long silence. From 2006 I am in Ukraine to help my elderly parents in the South of Ukraine. Anton made his studies in Germany -Essen (piano) and Berlin(sound engineering) and returned to Kiev. Ukraine lives a tragic moment in its history but we do not leave it in need. We help as we can. We are so grateful to America for its noble support of Ukraine and its honesty and courage - please say thank you to all people around you. We always think of you and we have NOT forgotten you
