The Joslin Memorial Library and the Waitsfield Historical Society would like to thank Alice Evans for leading a very successful four part research and discussion series on the Civil War.

Participants benefited not only from her knowledge, materials and detailed and extensive preparation, but also from her experience as an educator, as she approached the sessions in original and creative ways that produced very enriching results.
