To The Editor:
Carol Hosford has been representing Valley residents in the Vermont Legislature for four years. It is time for a change! Hosford's experience does not make her an effective advocate for the needs of the state or of The Valley. Nor has she been an effective advocate for legislation that promotes our interests, like jobs!
What's best is a vote for Adam Greshin. Here are some examples to support our position. Hosford is still looking at a different way to fund education and hopes that the Legislature has a proposal. Greshin, on the other hand, has a plan to implement three revisions to Act 60/68.
Hosford assures us that Catamount Health Care is working well! Greshin knows that the new applicant pool is too heavily weighted towards chronic care users. He has a plan that offers choices, incentives to help overcome the financial hurdle to health care coverage in Vermont and distribute the costs of health care more broadly. Last year Hosford defended Act 185 in this newspaper! About Act 185, Greshin says that the best solution is to go back to the original method of mailing prebate/rebate checks directly to homeowners.
Make the needed change and vote for Adam Greshin.
