To The Editor:
I must respond to Ms. Cunningham's article last week that presented absolutely false information regarding the water and wastewater projects as well as other inaccuracies. She said "that this will be at the least a $17 million project" and the "number of properties served...is roughly 75 if everyone signs up." It is an insult to suggest the select board and planners who have contributed thousands of hours of their volunteer time would present something like this to the town. This isn't even close to the actual facts. The minimum is $7.6 million for the water system with $2.3 million in grants which require a positive bond vote to be secured. This would serve 400 housing units.
