To the Editor:
On Town Meeting Day, Waitsfield voters will be able to vote by Australian ballot on three bond articles that will fund proposed water supply and water treatment services for the village. This means that a lot of folks who can't take the day off to attend Town Meeting will be able to weigh in on this. When people start talking about spending $19.7 million, it's a good idea to open up the decision-making process. Whether you think this new water plan will be the town's salvation or that it will be a waste of millions of dollars, let our town government know what you feel on Tuesday, March 4.
There's also a fairly interesting presidential primary going on the same day. Some folks might feel that the candidates running in that race have even more "creative" ideas of how to spend our money than our own town officials, so it's worth letting them know what you're thinking, too.
