To The Editor:
Let's be grateful for the diversity of artists, farmers, craftsmen, families, bikers, hikers, cooks, teachers, workers, skiers, children, etc. in our Valley. And let's be grateful for Kingsbury Market Farm Garden – a wonderful gift to those of us who live here and in surrounding communities and those who come to visit.
Kingsbury Market Farm Garden (KBMG) provides quantities of fresh greens and winter root vegetables for Central Vermont Food Bank. But do you know that this very special place, while providing us with the freshest and most luscious of fresh greens, is also an outstanding bakery and kitchen, preparing fresh, luscious soups, salads, breads, desserts and delicious prepared meals? Aaron Locker and Suzanne Slomin have created an exceptional world which engages visitors and old timers (like myself) in a taste of excellence.
Presently KBMG is looking to secure a permit for a tented area for enjoying a snack or a meal outdoors this summer.
What could be better than to enjoy their fresh, deliciously prepared food outdoors at a picnic table at the farm with flowers and broccoli blooming beside you?
